It's easy to fall in love with Brazil. The Brazilian cities you probably heard about are Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, where they are known for their partying and nightlife. That's where most of the tourist will stay.
But not us! I'm taking you around the world with me and we will start with a tour of Brazil, my current home.
Paraná is a state located in southern Brazil, known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant cities, stunning natural landscapes, and European climate. This state is not as well known for travelers, so hopefully I'll give you a few travel ideas for your next trip to Brazil.

Curitiba:
The capital of Paraná is a bustling metropolis that offers a great mix of urban sophistication and natural beauty. The city is known for its innovative urban planning, excellent museums, and beautiful parks. Arguable one of the most modern cities in Brazil.
Foz do Iguaçu:
This city is home to one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world, the Iguaçu Falls. A huge waterfall that is on the border of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. The city is also a great base for exploring the Parque Nacional do Iguaçu and the Itaipu Dam, the largest hydroelectric power plant in the world.
Ilha do Mel:
This beautiful island is a paradise for nature lovers, with stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush vegetation. There are no cars on the island, which makes it a peaceful and relaxing destination for a day trip or to stay a few days.
Antonina:
This charming colonial town is situated on the banks of the Rio Nhundiaquara and is surrounded by lush hills and forests. The town has a rich history and is known for its beautiful architecture, cobbled streets,
and colorful houses.
Ponta Grossa:
This city is known for its stunning natural landscapes, including the Vila Velha State Park, which features surreal rock formations and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. With a quick drive, you could travel to the magical water hole of Buraco do Padre.
Guaratuba:
This seaside town is a popular destination for beachgoers, with a long stretch of white sand and crystal-clear waters. The town is also known for its excellent seafood restaurants and lively nightlife. Being further south in Brazil means the waters here are more warm than they are in the north.
Morretes:
This colonial town is located in the Serra do Mar mountain range and is known for its picturesque streets, colorful houses, and excellent cuisine, especially the famous Barreado dish. Just a beautiful one hour drive from Curitiba, it makes for a great day trip.
These are just a few of the many cities worth visiting in Paraná. Each one offers a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty, making it an ideal destination for travelers looking to explore Brazil's southern region.
